History
Opened in the mid-1990s, Ocotillo Raceway is one of the oldest active motocross tracks in the state of Arizona. Throughout its lifetime, it has hosted hundreds of races, including several rounds of the AMX Arizona State Championship series each year. After closing for a short time, the track is now open for practice every weekend, with races taking place on select weekends throughout the year.
Layout
The track utilizes a uniquely designed true-outdoor layout and is nearly a mile in length. Recognized as one of the more technical tracks in Arizona, it has many exciting jump features including a 150 foot table-top, known as “Go Huge.”
Location
The facility is located just southwest of I-10, approximately halfway between Phoenix and Tucson.
